New fundraising event at Fleming's Steakhouse
Let me get this straight: I get to taste wine, eat some hors d’ oeuvres, and it helps find shelter for homeless animals? Twist my arm!
Fleming's Prime Steakhouse in Walnut Creek is hosting a "Wine Down Wednesday" tasting and fundraiser for the White Kitty Foundation on wednesday October 22, at 5 p.m. Its a great idea: a nice way to let people check out this swank steakhouse and wine bar in downtown Walnut Creek, with 100% of the proceeds going to an outstanding charity. On Wednesday, October 22nd, friends and supporters of the White Kitty Foundation are invited to “Wine Down” at Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, while raising funds for the organization. 100% of the proceeds will benefit the White Kitty Foundation’s efforts to shelter, rehabilitate and socialize animals, regardless of condition, and ultimately find them a forever home where they can flourish.
“Thanks to programs like Fleming’s Wine Down Wednesdays, we are able to sustain our activities, which are supported entirely through fundraising and private donations,” says co-founder Cris Tarozzi. “The funds raised go directly towards the care of pets in our community.”
Located in the Olympia Place Shopping Center (1685 Mt. Diablo Boulevard), Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar will offer guests a fun evening of fine hors d’ oeuvres paired with a selection of six wines. Tickets for the event are $25 per person and can be purchased in advance by contacting Ms. Cris Tarozzi at (925) 472-0817. Reservations can also be made by e-mailing bob@whitekittyfoundation.org.
